Farewell for Now - 29 Royal Parade Tribute

In July 2004, ÂÒÂ×´óÉñ acquired a new building, an old doctor’s surgery at 29 Royal Parade directly across the road from the main campus and opportunely situated right next to Naughtons Parkville Hotel. The building quickly became home to English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and was the beginning of a special journey between staff and students lasting more than a decade.

Tribute to Colin Peter Holden

Colin Peter Holden (TC 1972) was born in 1951 and died much too soon in 2016. His father was an engineer on the Trans-Australian railway. Both his parents died when he was young. None of this explains why Colin was such an exceptional person.

Student of the Year – Shakeel Lala

Women’s Netball Go Back-to-Back

In 2015, after 23 long years without a finals appearance, the first’s netball team won what is believed to be the inaugural title in the history of ÂÒÂ×´óÉñ. Now, they have gone back-to-back with victory in this year’s competition.

On Saturday 29 October, over two hundred Pathways School students celebrated Halloween at Edith Head Hall. For many of our students, this was their first experience celebrating Halloween. In fact, the student organisers of our party had never celebrated Halloween.

Friday 9 September saw the Chapel play host to the ÂÒÂ×´óÉñ Sleep Out, where students from the Residential College made their beds from cardboard and slept overnight in the Chapel.

Archbishop’s Dinner Raises Money for Faith In Our Future Appeal

The 2016 Archbishop’s Dinner held on Wednesday 31 August was a resounding success with over 200 people attending and over $170,000 raised for the Faith in Our Future Appeal.

Major New Scholarships in Theology at ÂÒÂ×´óÉñ

The late Joan Adams of Melbourne has left a substantial bequest in favour of the Frank Woods Studentship Fund within the ÂÒÂ×´óÉñ Theological School. The bequest enables the School to create three new endowed scholarships for theological study.

Where are they now? - Willix Halim

Trinity has set up a strong foundation for me to pursue my university degree. In July 2004, I joined the Fast Track program. I was 16 at the time and the support from the mentors and the lecturers were amazing - helping me to prepare for my university journey.
