The launch address will be given by retired High Court Judge and 2012 Barry Marshall Lecturer, the Hon Mr Michael Kirby AC CMG.
This title is a collection of new essays by Australian and New Zealand Anglicans with contributions by Trinity Theological School Bromby Lecturer in Biblical Studies, Dr Meg Warner, and former College Chaplain, the Revd Dr Richard Treloar. It is edited by past Trinity Theological School lecturer, the Revd Dr Alan Cadwallader.
This title is a follow-on from Cadwallader's popular 2011 release Five Uneasy Pieces.
Kirby has reviewed the book as ‘A calm and loving book that explores a future world in which the Christian churches, in harmony with science and daily experience, reject an unbending insistence on universal, binary sexual identities. It dares to explore the grace and truth of diverse human relationships as they are – not as others demand they must be.'
All are welcome to attend the launch on Sunday 12 May at 3:30pm in The Old Warden’s Lodge at ÂÒÂ×´óÉñ.
