We have worked hard over the past 12 months to raise these funds, with our efforts culminating in a fundraising concert at the Athenaeum Theatre at the end of 2017. We were very proud to be able to make such a contribution to , and to champion their efforts to promote positive mental health, and to reduce depression and suicide among the Australian community.
Singing on the Petstock Stage on Sunday, it was a difficult task to try and hold the crowd following a parade of Labrador puppies before us, but the boys absolutely nailed it. It was also the first performance of our new recruits for 2018, and we were all very proud of their efforts. We performed 8 songs alongside presenting our donation, and even managed to get the staunchest of super-dads in the crowd singing along to Sweet Caroline.
2018 looks to be a promising year for the Tones, as we work on new music, continue to raise funds for beyondblue, as well as performing at several upcoming College events.
